Composite SAIRP in some dates

1971
Creation of the Company for Industrial Applications of the Plastic Resins (SAIRP) by Mr Jean-Louis MARTIN in Saint-Jean-de-Braye.


1975
SAIRP built its first machine for continuous manufacturing of polyester skins, intended for the body of commercial vehicles..
SAIRP employed 5 people then.


1985
SAIRP invents a new manufacturing continuous process and built itself its production line, which, constantly improved and optimized by Pascal Martin, confers to SAIRP the greatest capacity of European production of composite panels.


1989
First development of the activity at the International level : in Great Britain, then in Germany; the share of export accounts for 5% of the sales turnover.


1992
Construction of a new building of 5 000 m² equipped with a special overhead travelling crane, allowing to store the production in 100 m length.


1993
SAIRP makes its first steps on the Asian markets; Olivier MARTIN deals with the development of the activity in the area.


1994
First participation of SAIRP in the International Automotive Exhibition in Hanover.The company intensifies its growth in Germany with an important order with the manufacturing of 1800 swap bodies intended for the German post office.

SAIRP doubles its sales turnover in one year which passes from
31MF (4,7 M Euros) with 62MF (9,5 M. Euros). The company is present in 15 countries. Export accounts for 30% of the turnover.


1996
Thanks to the success of SAIRP in Germany, the company sets up one commercial organization.

At the same time, SAIRP increases its installations with the purchase
of a ground of more than 25 000 m², contiguous with the current manufacturing unit, with change to 85 000 m² the total surface.


1997
The company reaches a key stage of its development. Renamed SAIRP Composites, it is introduced at the Second Market of the Stock Exchange in Paris on June 4th 1997.


1998
SAIRP Composites reinforces its commercial team in Spain and in France.

The dispatching department goes up in power while passing
in 3 X 8 hours.


1999
Installation of a system of recovery and treatment of styrene fumes. SAIRP Composites then becomes the only company, manufacturer of panels, to be equipped with it.

In parallel, installation of a new system of aspiration and of storage of sawdust in silos.


2000
With 2 500 m² additional buildings, the company increases the surface of the preparation and dispatching units.

Installation of a new overhead crane with a capacity of 32 tons allowing a 25 tons loading in one operation.


2003
SAIRP Composites records a sales turnover of almost 14 M. Euros including 72% with export. The company is now entering new markets with strong potential like Asia, the Pacific Area
and the new E.U Members.


2004
The company is wide open on new technologies with the implementation of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Program) and the creation of a website.

Although, the construction of a mud tank (recovery of the water polluted in case of fire) contributes to make SAIRP Composites one of the only companies of its sector to anticipate the environmental standards.

Today, SAIRP Composites employs nearly 60 people, has a modern production equipment, flexible and with strong potential installed on
85 000 m² of ground including 25 000 m² covered. The company is a reference in the manufacture of continuous composite panels.
